Nestled into the hillside above the Oregon Coast, this new Pacific City home is designed to take advantage of the ocean views while the house itself quietly blends into it’s surroundings with its natural cedar cladding above and grey stone base below.
Stairs adjoining the driveway rise up from the street to the entry porch and main floor where the primary rooms are configured for one level living and allow the home to provide comfort for years to come. The great room with its transom windows and stone fireplace offer unobstructed views across the landscape below. The adjacent covered porch offer private outdoor space protected from the seaside elements and easy indoor outdoor living.
Other unique technical aspects of the project include an ICF foundation system, advanced wall construction, a super insulated roof, and European windows which all promote a highly efficient home.
